81th day of attachment

The MEDI-MIZER also known as the Profile is down since Tuesday. I did some repair in the morning. Trying to figure out the problem with the infusion pump as it is unable to charge. After I dismantled the device, I found out that the battery used is not meant for the infusion pump. I thought of replacing the battery only if it was replaced at least 2 years ago. I just hope that the Profile software is able to be used soon as it is quite difficult to check whether someone has replaced anything for a particular device.

When the system is up, I will take an infusion pump that is due this month for maintenance. Most of the pumps due are under warranty so I only have a pump under my hand. I want to have a try in repairing intermittent suction unit from Allied, Vacutron since I always deal with Datex-Ohmeda’s ISU. I found out that the vendor not willing to give us the quotation of the parts that we wanted.

The wall mounted thoracic suction unit was supposed to send down due for preventive maintenance. However, the nurse complaint that something is missing which we are not sure what exactly it is. There is no service manual in the cabinet and could not locate the soft copy of the service manual. There are still a lot of repair to be done.
